The Accounting PYP (Previously SMIPA) is a Professional Year Programme for accounting graduates, developed by CPA Australia in collaboration with the ICA (Institute of Chartered Accountants) and IPA (Institute of Public Accountants). The program’s goal is to assist international accounting graduates in developing the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
Also, candidates who complete the programme successfully are able to receive an additional 5 points on the Department of Home Affairs points test.
