You may apply for the child visa subclass 101. For children living abroad, such a visa enables them to reside with their parents in Australia. The child can remain in Australia for the remainder of his or her life after a visa has been issued. They’re also allowed to gain a Australia’s national health care system. A person may sponsor his or her relatives to come to Australia by means of this visa.

The child may leave Australia for a period of no more than five years after the granting of his or her visa. They must be adopted by a parent who is not an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen before they reach the age of 18 if you wish to bring an adopted child to Australia.

To apply for this visa type, you need:

The dependent child must be dependent on their parent who is an Australian citizen, an eligible New Zealand citizen, or Permanent Resident.

The dependent child must either be under 18 years, a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25 and financially dependent on the parent, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability.

The child must be single, not engaged to be married and dependent on the parent.

The child must meet the health and character requirements.

The visa application charge for this visa type is $3,055 for the main applicant. There is also charge for each of the child’s dependent children who apply for the visa.

Currently, 90% of the application for this visa type are processed in 27 months.
