Skilled workers appointed by their employers are allowed to remain and work in Australia on a continuous basis under Labour Agreement Stream 186 visas. If you are currently employed or intend to be employed by an employer which is associated with a Labour agreement, you may qualify for this type of employment. If you qualify, you can take part in the Australian Public Health System and apply for citizenship of Australia.
You’ll be allowed to travel for five years in and out of Australia. The visa application charge for this visa type for the main the applicant will be $4,640. If you are applying for family members like your partner or a dependent child, they will be charged additional fees of $4,890. A member of the family who is holding either a 457 or 482 visa may also be included.

If the labour contract does not expressly state that, you must be under 45 years of age to apply for this visa.

A Skilled Worker is able to remain and work in Australia for a permanent period of time as an skilled worker through the Temporary Residence Transition Stream Visa. Youa re also eligible to enrol for Australia’s Health Care Scheme and can apply for Australian citizenship if meet the eligible criteria.

Your eligibility shall be determined based on whether you have been working for an employer at least three years while holding a S subclass 457 or TSS visa.
