Prospective Marriage Visa – Subclass 300

Those who are engaged and intend to marry an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or eligible New Zealand citizen who meets the eligibility requirements are granted the prospective marriage 300 visa.

The visa permits the candidate to apply for the Partner (subclass 820 and 801) visa throughout their nine-month stay in Australia.

  Go to Australia or remain there as long as your visa is valid.

  Study and work in Australia without government funds.

  Travel outside Australia for infinite times.

 

What are the requirements for Subclass 300 visa?

For Visa Applicants:

  The applicant must be 18 years or more at the time of application.

  The applicant must be (Onshore) in Australia at the time application and at the time of grant.

  The applicant must meet with the relationship criteria.

  The applicant must have a sponsor (Husband/Wife/de facto partner).

   The applicant must meet with health and character requirements.

   The applicant must not have any outstanding debts to the Australian Government.

 

For Sponsors:

  The sponsor must be the Partner/Fiancé of the visa applicant

The sponsor must not hold or have held certain visas.
