The subclass 600 tourist stream visa is intended for those who want to go to Australia for leisure, take a cruise, or visit relatives and friends. The visa issuance letter specifies the duration of stay, which is transitory in nature.
The Tourist Visa (subclass 676) has been replaced by the Visitor Visa (subclass 600), which allows you to stay in Australia for three, six, or twelve months. Applicants must select one of the four streams listed below based on why they want to come.

The Visa Application Charge for this visa is $190, and the processing time is determined on the applicant's ultimate age.
